Dear Heroes Project Supporter,

We are 24 hours post Climb for Heroes 2014 and are beyond thankful for your support.  Yesterday, we saw over 400 participants during a truly glorious day in Mount Baldy.  We had almost 300 people summit, and saw every age, ability level, and four legged friend enjoy their time with us on the mountain.

We have to give huge thanks to Mount Baldy for lending us their mountain, their parking lot, and their services for the day.  Please consider going back for one of their "moonlight" hikes or to spend some family time this summer - nothing says vacation like no cell phone service.

Also a quick list thanking our sponsors and partners.  Without them, none of this could happen and we encourage you to make choices when possible to support those who support The Heroes Project and its mission.  Thank you Tender Greens, Nutrition Express, Indiblue, A16, Full Blown Events, and our Partners - Chrome Hearts & Equinox.  Without your support, we wouldn't be able to deliver a quality experience and we are so appreciative of your generosity.

Also, big thanks to our veterans and volunteers who spent their weekend working for Climb for Heroes. We are surrounded by so many great people and we appreciate every single one of you.

Lastly, we thank YOU.  Whether you came out and supported with your feet, forwarded our link to a friend, or simply donated online - we are happy to say that we had a very LOFTY goal of $100,000 this year.  It was a necessary amount to get Operation Everest on its way and WE MADE IT!!!  So THANK YOU - every single one of you!  Charlie and team leave tomorrow - we know, we cut things close!  Follow Operation Everest on Facebook and remind yourself as Charlie heads up the mountain that you are big part of how he got there!

Up next - Cycle for Heroes.  We will be opening online registrations at on May 15th.  Watch for it!  And then come to watch footage of Operation Everest and celebrate the return of USMC SSgt Charlie Linville.

Go Charlie and team!  God Speed.
