Fundraising Honor Roll

On September 11th, 2015, I'm participating in my 1st Cycle for Heroes event.
By cycling for 4 hours with hundreds of other folks on Santa Monica Pier, I'm suppoprting our heroes who have given everything for our freedom --- including civilians here in the U.S. who perished in the events in NYC, PA, and D.C., all members of the branches of our military, and all the collected families and friends.
This is personal for me since my father served in the Air Force (Capt. Dr. Richard Sulkes, that's his freshman college photo to the right), my family resides in NYC, and many other family members and friends' families also served in the Army, Navy, and Marines.
The funds we raise will help wounded warriors climb the world's highest peaks and find a renewed purpose in their lives.
Last year, in my role as President of the Alliance for Education in the Health Professions, I also had the opportunity to help Patrick Sowers at Operation Once in a Lifetime to raise over $20,000 from the generous and committed members of our Alliance. I want to extend that effort this fall with Cycle for Heroes.
