Fundraising Honor Roll

Dear family and friends,

You might know that I'm a little obsessed with Mt. Everest and the souls who make the death defying decisicion to push themselves to brink of death, and sometimes beyond, in frozen, oxygen-deprived attempts to summit a peak higher than commerical airplanes fly.

So I'm super exited to be personally participating in The Heroes Project's Climb for Heroes on Mt. Baldy on March 23rd, 2014. Our TEAM VIMMIA is raising funds to support The Heroes Project organization, which helps wounded veterans rebuild their lives and rediscover their mental, physical, and emotional strength by individually training them to climb the world's highest peaks.

The ability to overcome a mountain has proven to be a huge gift in the healing and livelihood of our vets.  We hope that you will support our efforts by making a secure online donation here or print a donor form and mail it with a check to The Heroes Project.

This year we will climb to support USMC Staff Sergeant Charlie Linville. In 2011, Sgt. Linville was blasted several yards into the air by a tertiary explosive device while on patrol in Afghanistan. He suffered devastating injuries to his foot and hand. By summer of 2013, despite over a year of attempts at rehabilitation, his right leg was amputated below the knee.

In the spring of 2014, Sgt. Linville will climb Mount Everest through the support of The Heroes Project and your donation! TEAM VIMMIA is extremely proud and humbled to be a part of this effort. Please join us through sponsoring Team Vimmia in our comparitively small effort to summit of Mt. Baldy and help the Heroes do something extraordinarily huge!

Thank you! In gratitude,

Kim Harlan
